Born in Nicaragua, in the midst of illegal invasions and nation-wide poverty, comes another soldier that took his first breath in that struggle, his first steps through the ashes of war and has risen from the flames to step up and spit truth like fire. His name comes from the soviet influence in his homeland, meaning ‘the man of steel’ but we know him on the streets as Stalyn.

Stalyn comes from a gritty and real part of the world and has seen and experienced enough cruelty and sadness to fill several lifetimes. But Stalyn has grown tired of being a silent witness and has made the conscious decision to become a part of the solution and a humble voice for his own people.

Surrounded by poetry and music since he was a child, the natural progression for Stalyn was to take his love for words and rhythms and mix it with his passion for hip-hop culture. Alongside his Crew, Stalyn released “Say Hello to the Kings” – a street smash that put his name on the Latin Urban map. Since then, Stalyn has performed in front of audiences in Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, Houston and soon he will be on your block.

Stalyn’s first solo Record, ''EL JOVEN REY '' an all-Spanish album, Is dedicated to his people and representing Real hip-hop to the fullest. Stalyn takes his inspiration from his personal experiences in the streets in both North and Latin America and from the struggles of his people around the globe. His raps are about positive change and his message is simple: Unity, Alertness, Understanding, Courage, Presence and Love. His heart is with the kids on the streets and his mind is on the block and right now he’s preparing to take his message to the masses.

Raised surrounded by such idols as freedom fighter Agusto Cesar Sandino, revolutionary poet Ruben Diario, founder of the Sandinistas Carlos Fonseca, and musicians and politicians Dimension Costena, Enrique Mejia Godoy and Carlos Mejia Godoy – Stalyn grew up with the mentality that one day his name would fall in line with these historical Nicaraguans. Brought up among such legends and inspired by true-life revolutionaries, Stalyn was built to succeed and is ready to take over the game and turn it into a real movement.
